The European Association of Youth Orchestras has merged with the European Association of Amateur Orchestra to become the European Orchestra Federation (EOFed). EOFed will have it's own web site up and running soon at which time this site will redirect. Contact emails will be forwarded to EOFed.

Welcome to the homepage of the European Association of Youth Orchestras - the networking organisation for youth orchestras throughout Europe.

Since 1990, EAYO has developed a network of youth orchestras across Europe. Members come from Norway to Spain and share information and expertise to promote cultural links between young musicians in Europe.

EAYO assists in the promotion and development of youth orchestras and National Youth Orchestra Associations throughout Europe and is a Forum for Youth Orchestra activities at European level.

The EAYO network promotes Youth Orchestra Festivals and assists with exchanges between Youth Orchestras in many countries.

EAYO regularly holds open consultative meetings on various issues of interest to Youth Orchestras, e.g. on Touring, Funding, Festivals, Website development, etc.

EAYO represents the interests of European Youth Orchestras in many European and World Organisations working with Youth and Music.
